The Armenian Radio Hour is a weekly radio show based in Hamilton, Ontario. The show went live on May 28, 1978 with original host Ohan Balian and has steadily served listeners for over 30 years. The Radio Hour has always been run by local volunteers from the Armenian community, and supported by the monetary and musical donations of community members. It broadcasts out of McMaster University every Sunday morning at 10 AM (Eastern Time), offering a show consisting of Armenian music, culture, international and community news. The goal is not only to keep the community updated and entertained, but also to keep it together and invite Canadian and International listeners to share in and enjoy Armenian culture.
